The Worst Form of Transportation - Claire Lin Entry #1

"Now that you are towards the end of this unit project and in the process of completion, what do you think is the single most important piece of information you have learned and one that you think is very important for everyone to know about?"

I think that the most important piece of information I have learned and would like everyone to know about is that there are many forms of transportation for our families to get to and from certain destinations, yet we choose the worst - driving by ourselves in a non-efficient car. We could carpool, ride buses, drive hybrids, walk, bike, etc. etc. There are many solutions to this problem yet we still continue to use our worst form of transportation.

    You're right! It's very true that there are much better eco-friendly options! I think we still use cars because they're just convenient. Maybe if Hybrids or other energy-saving cars were cheaper, they would be better. That way, we would still have the convience, but an affordable environment-friendly car! There are disadvantages for the car makers, of course, but it's all in the name for a better Earth! :D

    Varsha's correct. I think humans are lazy and thats why they use cars.
