"Were you successful in convincing people to make a change in their lives in regards to your project? Why do you think they did or did not agree to make a change? What did you learn about what it takes to persuade people to make a change in their lifestyle and how can you more effectively convince people to make a change if you were to do this again?"
I enjoyed a mediocre success in changing the actions of the people to whom I presented. I think that I was not able to convince them fully because they felt that what I was presenting did not apply to them personally, although they agreed they would have done something if they could. Instead, I should have presented to someone in a government position who is able to better instigate the ideas my project is covers with, which mostly do not concern the average citizen except for petitions and votes to create action in the government. I learned that in order to create action, you need a strong presentation as well as a strong documentary. If I were to do this again, I would address a person in a position of governmental power with this issue instead of an ordinary citizen. This would probably result in a better outcome.
