Save the Electricity, but not ONLY for you!!-Sara Pachauri Blog Entry #1

Many people think they should save electricity because they think they want to decrease the money they have to pay in the electricity bill. Many people don't even know why they should save electricity! They heard of it, but never actually thought out why you should do it. Now, you can know, and hopefully this post will help you change your electricity habits.

Here's one of the reasons you should conserve electricity. Many people heard the phrase "global warming". Many people have said, "What's that?", "Should I know about it?", "Is it important?", "I'm not causing global warming!", or even, "Global warming is stupid! They should have never invented it!" Many scientists have done, and even doing research as we speak about global warming. There are very high chances of global warming, many scientists think. Now, you some of you guys are thinking, what does this have to do with saving electricity?

If we use less electricity, then fossil fuels will be reduced. When fossil fuels are reduced, greenhouse gases will be less used. If greenhouse gases will be less used, then the chances of global warming will reduce.

There are many ways to conserve electricity. Right now, the sun is still shining. Do you have the light on? If so, turn it off and open the curtains! That's one way. There's a bunch more ways to conserve electricity. As an activity, make a list of ways you can conserve electricity easily at home. Go online if you're stumped. Ask Ms. Sun, ask your parents, siblings, older siblings. Also, remind your family about this.
