
Yes, I was successful in convincing people to make a change in their lives in regards to my project. I think they agreed to make a change because they realized how much fossil fuels were negatively impacting the environment. Also, I think they agreed to make a change because it was simple and easy to do and did not require a lot of work. Another thing they might have noticed was that they could possibly save money if they took small steps towards using less fossil fuels.
While persuading people to make a change in their lives, I realized that people were more motivated to make a change when I explained the rewards of making a change, such as saving money or helping the environment. I learned that people are more encouraged to make a change when they know they have a good end of the deal.
