I think the most important information I have learned in this project is that the U.S uses much more kilograms of oil equivalent(kgoe) per person than other countries, as shown in the list below.

This information emphasizes that the U.S needs to conserve oil and need to stop their gluttonous consumption of it. Everybody needs to know this information because they need to be aware of the damage they are doing to the Earth and themselves as well. This is important information because we need to be knowledgeable about our problem before we start attacking it so we can be more effective in solving our problem. It will help us come to a realization about conserving energy.
