If everyone makes small changes, you can make HUGE differences to the world. For example, if you move your thermostat 2 degrees Fahrenheit up in the summer and 2 degrees fahrenheit down in the winter, you can prevent 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide getting released into the air! Also, if you can avoid cars when traveling, you can save gas, get healthy, and have fun by biking and walking at the same time. (Biking is also more efficient than cars: when you bike, 80% of the energy you put into a bike is turned into motion. However, only 20% of the energy from gasoline is turned into motion in cars.) If you use a reusable water bottle, you can save plastic and money.
