Drive Eco-Friendly- Dilip Venkatesh Entry #1

When added up, the total amount of emissions given from driving cars is more polluting than any other activity on earth. You can still never stop the fact that people always manufacture & use cars one way or another, as it is one of the most largest technological advances of the human species. Even through all this negativity, we can all still help out to stop this. Two main ways for this are driving efficiently and/or electrically. Most people prefer to help from efficient driving, because they feel it helps save money, but even as that statement is not necessarily true, it is still a way to help the earth. To do this you must drive with less stops, transport with less load, public transportation/carpool, and/or drive at a constant pace. All these ways can help you mpg, gasoline, and money. Driving an electric car is the other way of doing things. You may be thinking that,"Oh my! Look at the price of that car!", but it is almost guaranteed that the money will come back eventually as you drive more. Electric cars do not use gasoline letting none of those harmful pollutants release into the air. All you have to do to "refill" the car is plug it in to an outlet in your garage with the plug-in cord the car comes with. Even though it takes energy to make the electricity, the emission amount will decrease by a whole lot compared to what it is now. Following these concepts could result to fresher air, cleaner water, and a better life.
