Natural Resources Blog entry

From my research during the project I learned many things about marine life. From what I learned in science class about the food chain and if the producer dies out, then the entire food chain collapses, it is the same thing in marine life. Global warming is most affecting the producers in the ocean food chain such as phytoplankton. This organism is the key for energy for a lot of ocean predators. The phytoplankton decreased by 40% last year and is still decreasing. For all the consumers that eat phytoplankton, they are decreasing as well. If they decrease the secondary consumers will decrease and so on. I also know that people need to take action
