Stop World Hunger-Shilika Blog Entry #1

I think the single, most important piece of information I learned and I think every one should know is that:

Around the world, one child dies every five seconds because of hunger. That means 16,000 kids dies every single day because of the lack of food. That is a lot of the world’s population.

Because of uneven distribution of food, so many people are starving. Due to that, many people are dying. The uneven distribution of food effects kids across the world. There are places on this earth where humans die of hunger. On the other hand, there are places that have so much food that people waste a lot of it. Many see the news in the newspaper, or magazines, and also the television. Millions of hearts are touched, but very little effort is taken to prevent this from happening. Many don't even try to help. That is why Anushka, Tania, and I at least tried to make a difference even though we couldn’t do much. It shows that we care a lot. in the future, we will keep this idea in our hearts and if someone comes to us for help, we will for sure help them as much as we can to our ability.
